Leave Your Worries and Anxiety Behind

We’ll Help Calm Your Dental Fears

You’re not alone in feeling anxious or fearful about going to the dentist. In fact, you’re in a similar situation to many patients in the Sandhills area! For you—and all our patients—we offer sedation dentistry services to help calm your dental fears, no matter if you need a simple teeth cleaning or more complex restorative surgery. Additionally, our compassionate team of dentists and staff prioritize your comfort and safety at every appointment. At our state-of-the-art office, you’ll find a welcoming office environment and calming treatment suites all equipped to provide sedation services. No matter your level of dental anxiety, we’ll have a solution for you.

For patients with mild anxiety, we recommend nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas”, which you’ll breathe in through your nose. This option is very safe and will put you in a calm, happy state, though it won’t cause you to fall asleep. If you have more moderate anxiety, oral sedation or a combination of this option and nitrous oxide will be beneficial for you. If oral sedation is part of your treatment plan, you’ll take this medication before your appointment, putting you in a drowsy, calm mood that might even let you forget what happens. For more severe dental anxiety, we provide IV sedation, the highest level of conscious sedation that will put you in a comfortable “sleep” state during your procedure. We’ll assess your level of dental anxiety at your appointment, and provide you with sedation dentistry that makes you feel comfortable with and will provide the greatest level of comfort and pain control.
