Amy, our Practice Manager, joined Bela Family Dentistry of Sandhills in early 2020. Native to Blythewood, South Carolina, she attended Midlands Technical college. Amy’s dental career started in 2001 as a chair side Dental Assistant in a Pediatric Dental office. Amy worked clinically as a dental assistant until 2015 when she started the transition into management. Her passion for providing exceptional Patient care fits perfectly with the Vision and Mission of Bela.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, boating on the lake, visiting the beach and traveling to new places. She has two daughters and a fur baby, And is a big gamecock fan, (in good times and bad.)
Neffritita Dental Assistant
Neffritita graduated in 2000 from the American Red Cross Dental Assistant Program in Aviano, Italy. She has had an interest in the dental field since she was in elementary school. Her favorite part of her job is educating patients and helping them maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her compassionate personality and calm bedside manner. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies and reading.
Neffritita has been married to her wonderful husband, Teddy, for seven years. She has two sons (Nahzeer and Teddy Jr (“TJ”), a daughter (Aaliyah), a bonus daughter (Jasmine) and a “fur” daughter (Diamond) that calls her Mom. Kamora, her granddaughter calls her “GiGi”!
Hayley Dental Hygienist
When you're due for a cleaning, our hygienist Hayley is the team member you will see. Her dental hygiene career began in 2013 after obtaining an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Horry Georgetown Technical College. She has provided care in Myrtle Beach, Lexington, Irmo/Columbia, and Chicago, IL. Returning to Columbia has allowed her passion for dentistry to grow by providing exceptional patient care in her hometown community.
Outside of work you can find Hayley spoiling her niece Sofia, cheering for the Gamecocks & Chicago Cubs, and traveling.
Hannah Patient Advocate
Hannah has been working in the dental field since 2014 and joined our team September 2020. She wants to help patients feel confident, happy, and to be able to enjoy their experiences at our dental office. Her goal as a patient advocate is to welcome you with a warm smile and to help you feel like your dental team is a part of your family.
“When growing up I had to go to the dentist a lot. I was always excited to go to my dental appointments because of the wonderful experiences I had. The staff always made me feel comfortable and treated me like I was a part of their family. They knew who I was, and I want our patients to have that feeling too.”
Hannah is a native to the Midlands area. She loves taking on different adventures and enjoys new experiences. In her free time, she likes to try new sports, hanging out with her boyfriend and dogs, and spending time outside.
