How to Get Started

We make our Invisalign process simple and straightforward. First, you’ll visit our Sandhills office for a consultation that includes a thorough evaluation. We’ll review your dental health and your goals for treatment in order to ensure Invisalign is the best solution for you. Next, we’ll take digital impressions of your teeth, no messy impressions here. We use these to create a series of custom clear aligners, designed specifically for your smile and your treatment plan. You’ll wear each set of aligners for 20 or more hours a day, but you’ll be able to remove them to eat and maintain your regular hygiene routines. As treatment progresses, you’ll replace your aligner with the next one in the series until your treatment plan is complete and you see the confident smile you’ve been dreaming of!

The Long-Term Benefits of Straight Teeth

Although the immediate results of straight teeth can mean a boost in self-esteem, Invisalign treatment from our Columbia team can also have long-term functional and health benefits as well. First off, straight teeth are easier to clean. Reducing crowding and gaps that collect food can reduce cavities and tooth decay in the future. Misaligned teeth can also mean an improper bite (malocclusion). Many patients with malocclusion will notice their teeth begin to wear down as they grind and clench their teeth. Straightening them can eliminate these bad habits and even reduce jaw pain and soreness. Overall, straighter teeth mean a healthier smile and one that lasts. With a convenient and discreet solution as easy as Invisalign, aren’t you ready to start smiling freely again?
