Our Custom Sedation Treatments

During your personalized consultation, we’ll review our various sedation solutions and determine which helps best with your dental anxiety and the complexity of your procedure. Our options include:

IV Sedation
Delivered intravenously, this type of sedation produces a “sleep” state. You’ll be fully conscious, but you won’t feel any discomfort during your procedure or remember it once it’s over. This is an ideal option for patients with severe dental anxiety and is often used during dental implant placement and other oral surgeries.
1
Oral Sedation
With this option, you take a pill by mouth before your procedure that puts you in a relaxed, calm state. Oral sedation is a good option for patients with moderate to severe dental anxiety.
2
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” is delivered through a mask worn comfortably over your nose. Though it probably won’t cause you to laugh, you’ll feel relaxed but alert throughout your procedure. Once the mask is removed, the effects wear off immediately.
3
Local Anesthesia
We use local anesthesia to numb a small area of your mouth. This can be applied as a gel or administered via injection. We offer The Wand® Anesthesia option, which numbs the site for painless injection of local anesthesia.
